Many people look forward to their first day on the job, and Thursday marks the beginning of one pup’s new endeavor.
UT-Chattanooga has announced that their new K9, named Lucky, has officially begun his work for the campus police department. Lucky is a six-month-old black Labrador Retriever and their second working dog, starting a year after K9 Sophie began her role.
Much like his coworker, Lucky will serve as a therapy dog to aid students in times of stress. He is also being trained to serve as an explosive ordnance detection dog.
