K9 helps Richmond authorities with drug bust

RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) – Patrol K9 Kuco helped assist the Richmond Police Department with a drug bust, officials say.
Police responded to an anonymous drug complaint in the Colby Taylor Drive area on July 17. Patrol K9 was deployed and performed a free air sniff. Police say she alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics.
Police report they seized 572 grams of methamphetamine, 32 grams of heroin, and $3,601.
