Ted Priest

Ted Priest started his K9 career in the Military Working Dog Program while serving in the US Navy, retiring after 27 years in the Military, continued his K9 career in civilian Law Enforcement retiring after 18 years as a K9 Police Sergeant, Trainer and Handler. He is the owner and lead trainer of Caliber K9 Solutions LLC, a dog training business located in Southwestern Ohio. Caliber K9 Solutions offers training from Basic/Advanced Obedience, Puppy Trainings, Basic Behavior Modifications to Police Assessment and Selections, K9 Unit Training Development, Strengthening to Target Odor, and Tactical K9 Patrols to name a few.

This course will cover assisting your K9’s Strength to Target Odor. We will also understand the Canine Olfactory System, as it relates to Odor Detection, we will look at the effects that the environment has on odor. Differences in Target, Novelty, and Distractor Odors and Scent Picture.
