Paul Hammond
Paul Hammond is widely recognized as an industry leader in the use and deployment of working dog teams around the world, with a distinguished career spanning 35 years, having managed many of the world’s largest operational canine programs. He has vast operational experience in Iraq, Afghanistan & Northern Ireland in support of the U.S. Dept, of Defense, U.S. Dept, of State, the British Military & Private Security Sector.
Paul has served as a member of the British Elite Forces [The Parachute Regiment], and as a senior working-dog advisor for multiple Military Defense, Research, and Evaluation agencies. He has also worked alongside Auburn University’s Canine Performance Science Program on key Government research initiatives, and special advisor to the European Counterterrorism Commission |22 Countries] on body-worn canine explosive detection.
Paul has built numerous industry renown canine companies, to include Vapor Wake K9, Cargo Screening K9, Bio Detection K9, iK9 and the US Canine Biathlon. Paul is currently the CEO at Shergroup Security.
