Campbell Police Department welcomes new K-9 team

CAMPBELL, Wis. (WXOW) – The Campbell Police Department has welcomed a new K-9 team following the resignation of their previous handler.

Officer Robert Cale and his new partner, K-9 Phoenix, are stepping in to fill the role.

Phoenix, a six-year-old Belgian Malinois, was purchased from the Prairie du Chien Police Department and has been working with Cale since mid-December.

“She’s six years old, and she’s already been working in the past, and now she’s coming to us and we’re happy to have her,” Cale said. “She’s a valuable tool for us here, and we’re looking forward to getting to know each other a little better.”
