TPD’s 1-year-old bloodhound, Officer Jon Jon finds missing girl

The Tallahassee Police Department added a new officer to their team, a one-year-old.

Jon Jon the bloodhound has been with the department for two weeks, and recently completed his first track, helping find a 13-year-old girl.

Handler Paul Osborn, who is also new to the K-9 unit says working and saving lives with Jon Jon has been an incredible experience

“He’s a great tool, an incredible dog with skills I could have never imagined, and the opportunity to increase the likelihood of saving individuals who are missing is just an amazing opportunity,” said Osborn. Read More
