ODESSA — Two women were arrested after police say their K9 led to the discovery of meth and simulated narcotics.

Natalie Duralia, 26, has been charged and arrested for Unlawful Delivery or Manufacture of a Simulated Controlled Substance, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Possession of Marijuana.

Rachelle Cumby, 26, has been charged and arrested for Unlawful Delivery or Manufacture of a Simulated Controlled Substance, Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility, and Possession of Methamphetamine.

On Saturday morning, officers with the Odessa Police Department performed a traffic stop on a car in the 4800 block of Andrews Highway.

An open air sniff was conducted by K9 Maximus, who was alerted to the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle found meth in several locations as well as a crystal-like substance that was found to be simulated, according to OPD.

Both suspects were then charged and arrested before being taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

Once there, Cumby was found to be in possession of a bag of crystal-like substance that did not test positive for meth. She was then additionally charged for having a prohibited substance in a correctional facility.
