New Henry County K9 has first drug bust right out of academy

HENRY COUNTY, Ala (WDHN) — A brand new drug dog in Henry County had his first drug bust not even a week after graduating from the academy.
On Tuesday, March 18, a Henry County Sheriff’s Office drug task force officer pulled over a vehicle on Highway 431, near county road 212.
According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, during the traffic stop, K9 Rudi and his partner, Deputy LaRose, found approximately 30lbs of Marijuana, and the driver, 32-year-old Alfedan Akinlosoe, of Atlanta, Georgia, was arrested.
