Fayette Co. K9 finds $6M in liquid meth after traffic stop

A K9 for the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office found millions of dollars’ worth of liquid methamphetamine in a vehicle Monday afternoon during a routine traffic stop.
The sheriff’s office says a deputy pulled over a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe for a traffic infraction, but became suspicious after talking to the driver and passenger.
The deputy obtained consent to search the SUV and K9 Lobos alerted to the presence of narcotics, investigators say.
A false compartment was found inside the gas tank, which contained approximately 60 kilos of liquid meth oil, with an estimated street value of around $6,000,000. read more
