40 Hour Man-Trailing Training & Certification Seminar
Hosted by the Garrett County Sheriff’s Department
April 24th thru the 29th McHenry MD
AGENDA:
Certification is offered for NPBA Member Attendees participating in ALL Classroom & Field Exercises. Team MUST bring 6 mos. training logs. Minimum Requirements for certifying hounds, must be a minimum of ten (10) months old and handler must have a minimum of 6 months of training records with his/her dog that he/she is certifying with. Only 1 dog per Handler will be certified. Certification is based on Instructors Evaluation. The 40 Hour Man-Trailing Training & Certification Course qualifies for 4 Contact Hours of Continuing Education Units through Garrett College’s (MD) Continuing Education & Workforce Development Department. Continuing Education Certificate along with a Certificate of Participation and if applicable NPBA Certification requires FULL ATTENDANCE. Puppies 10 weeks or older are welcome to participate.
