HRD Crime Scene
December 2-4, 2020
Target Audience: Certified teams or teams that have a minimum of 12 months HRD land experience and dog should have a solid trained final response. Teams that are currently working or training towards being able to deploy to criminal cases.
Topics: This 2.5 day workshop will be a combination of classroom and field work. Classroom presentations will cover documentation for training logs and search reports, and communicating findings with AHJs.
Field work will focus on building search, vehicle search, wilderness search for evidence, low threshold odors (blood, decomp, bone), trace, up to large source. Participants will have the opportunity to work blind and known searches.
Availability: Space is limited to 30 working spots. Unlimited auditor spots available.
Meals: Lunches will be provided each day.
Hotels: A block of rooms will be held near the training site. Upon completing your registration, you will receive an email with hotel information so that you can reserve your room.
Prerequisites:
1. Dog must be at least 12 months old and have at least 6 months of HR training at the time of the workshop. Dog must have a solid trained final response.
2. You should have, or be preparing to take a HRD Land certification from a national or state agency. If you have a current certification a copy can be uploaded during the registration process.
3. Dog must be current on core vaccinations per AAHA Core Vaccines: Rabies, and Combination vaccine (Distemper, Adenovirus-2, Parvovirus, +/- Parainfluenza). Current titers also accepted. Information can be found at:

Payment must be received for registration to be complete. Once the registration form is complete you will receive a receipt and email confirmation.
