COST: $295 per person – TWO-DAY COURSE
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This 2-day course will cover equipment familiarization and the appropriate application of the equipment during training. It’s designed to teach handlers and new or experienced decoys how to identify your dog’s strengths and weaknesses in regards to aggression or protection skill sets. Students will be offered training in front of the leash (decoy) as well as behind the leash (handler) to benefit the dog’s progression and safety. This class is meant for people who want to learn how to decoy and get problem solving tips and for handlers who may just want their dogs to be worked and problem solved.
Recommended Equipment (not necessary to participate): Belgian sleeves, hard sleeves, variety of bite suits. Feel free to bring all the bite equipment you have, it will benefit new people in the K9 world to see and discuss it. If you don’t own it, no problem! You’ll be able to become very familiar and even purchase your own after the course.
Additional Equipment recommended: agitation harness, agitation collar, agitation muzzle
