Join ICRWDA and Simon Protection for an indoor/outdoor scenario based Explosive, Firearm and Bite training designed to work on skill transitions in a changing environment. K9 Handlers working in a casino, resort, festival, sporting event or something similar, should attend this training to learn valuable information about your dog. These scenarios will push you and your K9 partner to make the transition from patrol to detection to bite (for dual dogs) and back to the main objective, all in one fluid scenario.

Training Objectives:
  • Shift from an externalized drive to internalized drive
  • Shift from an externalized drive to internalized drive
  • Get the dog to switch back and forth seamlessly between these different skills
  • Reward the dog properly, so his focus can return from a high-drive skill to a lower drive skill
  • Identify areas for post-event training
