Live Find Exposure to Large HRD Source (Disaster)
November 8, 2020
Target Audience: Disaster live find teams that are certified through a national or state organization. Teams that want the opportunity to expose their canines to prepare for real world situations they will face on searches.
Topics: Guided exposure to full bodies and large sources, recognizing their live find dog’s reaction to remains vs live victim, progression of exercises working past remains into live victims culminating in a blind disaster search with full bodies as distraction. This 1 day workshop will be in the field training only, no classroom.
Availability: Space is limited to 30 working spots. Unlimited auditor spots available.
Schedule: November 8, 0800 – 1600
Meals: Lunch will be provided.
Hotels: A block of rooms will be held near the training site. Upon completing your registration, you will receive an email with hotel information so that you can reserve your room.
Prerequisites:
1. Dog must be at least 12 months old and have a live find certification from a national or state organization.
2. Dog must be current on core vaccinations per AAHA Core Vaccines: Rabies, and Combination vaccine (Distemper, Adenovirus-2, Parvovirus, +/- Parainfluenza). Current titers also accepted. Information can be found at:

Payment must be received for registration to be complete. Once the registration form is complete you will receive a receipt and email confirmation.
