HRD Land Intermediate
September 15-17, 2020
Target Audience: Teams that have experienced large sources/bodies and are ready to move from exposure to searches. Teams that are approaching certification level or have already certified but have limited experience with large sources. Teams that have been through the Beginner workshop or have 12 months of HRD training and dog has a solid trained final response.
Topics: Exposure to full body and large source, searches in different environments, developing a search strategy, scent theory, search reports, communications with AHJ, proper scene preservation.
Availability: Space is limited to 30 working spots. Unlimited auditor spots available.
Schedule: September 15, 0800 – 1600
September 16 , 0800 – 1600
September 17, 0800 – 1600
Meals: Lunches will be provided each day.
Hotels: A block of rooms will be held near the training site. Upon completing your registration, you will receive an email with hotel information so that you can reserve your room.
Prerequisites:
1. Teams that are approaching certification level or have already certified but have limited experience with large sources. Teams that have been through the Beginner workshop or have 12 months of HRD training and dog has a solid trained final response.
3. Dog must be current on core vaccinations per AAHA Core Vaccines: Rabies, and Combination vaccine (Distemper, Adenovirus-2, Parvovirus, +/- Parainfluenza). Current titers also accepted. Information can be found at:

Payment must be received for registration to be complete. Once the registration form is complete you will receive a receipt and email confirmation.
