Ulster Man Charged with Drug Possession

KINGSTON – Members of the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team (U.R.G.E.N.T.) report the arrest of an Ulster man for drug possession.

On March 16, 2018 at about 7:30 p.m., members of URGENT and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit executed a search warrant of a residence on State Route 32 in the Town of Ulster.

As a result of the search, a quarter kilogram of cocaine, one ounce of concentrated cannabis wax, two and a half ounces of marijuana, scales, drug packaging material, shotguns, rifles and $15,390 in cash were allegedly located.

The owner of the residence, Edwin Pomales, 69, of Ulster, was arrested by members of URGENT. Read More
