Ella Risk students welcome Central Falls K-9 officer for oath of office

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WJAR) — Tails were wagging at Ella Risk Elementary School in Central Falls Tuesday, as the police department and its K-9 officer stopped by for a special ceremony.
Surrounded by excited schoolchildren, K-9 Officer Zoom took his oath of office.
He was joined by his handler, K-9 Officer Kerry Craig, as well as Col. Anthony Roberson, Capt. Christopher Reed, and several other officers, with students showering the police dog with gifts and kind words.
“It really meant a lot to me,” Craig told NBC 10 News during a brief interview after the ceremony. Read More
