2021 APCA National Training Conference
Welcome to the 2021 American Police Canine Association National Conference! This year’s event is being held in Tinley Park, Illinois and hosted by the Tinley Park Police Department October 3rd through October 7th. For those who are not familiar with this area Tinley Park is located approximately 20 miles southwest of Chicago with a population of approximately 60,000. The Tinley Park Police Department is comprised of 69 officers. Tinley Park and the surrounding suburbs are a diverse area that have just about anything you could want. As always, we will be providing top notch training and certifications. We will be offering training in tracking, narcotics detection, area search, article search, building search, aggression control and explosive detection.
This year’s event will be for Law Enforcement teams only and the APCA will not be offering training or certifications for search and rescue teams. K9 teams will also have the opportunity to work with experienced master trainers to work out any problems area that they are having. Also, teams will have the opportunity to network with handlers from different agencies to see different techniques.

Registration will begin at 3:00 P.M. on October 3rd, 2021 at the Hilton Garden Inn located at 18335 LaGrange Road Tinley Park, IL. 60487 food/drinks will be provided also.
We hope to have a great turn out this year since things were put on hold last year due to the pandemic. As always, all meals are included in with your conference registration fee and late-night snacks/drinks will also be provided. We look forward to having teams from across the country at this event and are excited to act as your host.
